Automotive Technician (Certified Journeyman/woman)

We’re seeking an Automotive Technician with a genuine love for cars and a strong desire to grow professionally, someone who takes pride in their craft and is ready to make an impact in a high-performing environment.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Up to $43/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30AM to 4:30PM | Weekends & Evenings Off

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are met on all repairs and services.
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle conditions and required repairs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technology through training and development opportunities.

 

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Certification:

    • Proof of Canadian Journeyman Certification in Automotive Service OR;
    • Active Registration as a Registered Automotive Service Apprentice in Alberta.

Experience:

    • Recent experience working as a registered Automotive Technician in Alberta, Canada (within the last 2 years).
    • Must Have: Minimum 3rd Year Apprentice (Registered) experience to be considered.

Skills and Knowledge:

    • Proficient in diagnostics and repair of import and domestic vehicles.
    • Familiarity with advanced vehicle systems, including EV technology, is an asset.

Driver’s License: Active Class 5 Driver’s Licence.

Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
